By downloading, installing, or using CareCircle ("the App"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use the App.

2. Description of Service

CareCircle is a caregiving coordination app that helps families manage care for elderly loved ones. The App provides features including medication tracking, task management, care circle coordination, and health monitoring tools.

3. User Accounts

To use CareCircle, you must create an account. You agree to:

Provide accurate and complete information
Maintain the security of your account credentials
Notify us immediately of any unauthorized use of your account
Accept responsibility for all activities that occur under your account

4. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

Use the App for any unlawful purpose
Share false or misleading health information
Attempt to gain unauthorized access to the App or its systems
Interfere with or disrupt the App's functionality
Use the App to harass, abuse, or harm others
Reverse engineer or attempt to extract the source code

5. Medical Disclaimer

IMPORTANT: CareCircle is not a medical device and is not intended to diagnose, treat, cure, or prevent any disease.

The App is a tool to help organize and coordinate caregiving activities.
Medication reminders and tracking are for organizational purposes only.
Drug interaction information is for reference only and should not replace professional medical advice.
Always consult healthcare professionals for medical decisions.
In case of emergency, contact emergency services immediately.

6. Care Circles

When you create or join a care circle:

You are responsible for obtaining consent from the care recipient (or their legal guardian) before adding their information.
Information shared within a care circle is visible to all members of that circle.
Circle administrators can manage membership and permissions.
You should only invite trusted individuals to your care circles.

7. Subscription and Payments

CareCircle offers both free and premium subscription tiers:

Free tier includes basic features with usage limits.
Premium subscriptions are billed through Apple's App Store.
Subscriptions automatically renew unless cancelled before the renewal date.
Refunds are subject to Apple's refund policies.

8. Intellectual Property

The App, including its design, features, and content, is owned by CareCircle and protected by intellectual property laws. You are granted a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the App for personal, non-commercial purposes.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, CareCircle shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including but not limited to loss of data, health complications, or missed medications, arising from your use of the App. Our total liability shall not exceed the amount you paid for the App in the past 12 months.

10. Disclaimer of Warranties

The App is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied. We do not warrant that the App will be uninterrupted, error-free, or completely secure.

11. Termination

We may terminate or suspend your account at any time for violation of these terms or for any other reason at our discretion. You may delete your account at any time through the App settings. Upon termination, your right to use the App will immediately cease.

12. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms of Service at any time. We will notify you of significant changes through the App or via email. Your continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the modified terms.

13. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the United States, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.
